Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data reels-crosspost (the "Tool") handles and why. The Tool is a personal tool operated by Guilherme Pessoa (the "Operator"), who is also its only user. Contact: pctheonee@gmail.com.
1. Data the Tool accesses
- TikTok: after you authorize the Tool, it receives an access token and basic profile information (your TikTok user ID, display name and avatar) so it can identify the connected account. It uses the Content Posting API to send videos you choose to your TikTok inbox as drafts.
- YouTube / Google: after you authorize the Tool, it receives OAuth tokens that allow it to upload videos to your channel and to read your channel's list of videos and their titles (so it does not upload the same video twice).
- Instagram: the Tool reads the Operator's own published Instagram posts (videos and captions) to find which ones still need to be uploaded elsewhere.
- Videos: each video is downloaded temporarily, uploaded, and then deleted from the Tool's storage.
The Tool does not access your contacts, messages, followers, analytics, payment information or the content of other users.
2. How the data is used
Only to do what the Tool is for: upload your own videos, with their captions, to your own accounts, and keep track of what has already been uploaded. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or training models, and it is never sold.
3. Where it is stored and for how long
- Access tokens and a small record of uploads (video ID, date, destination link) are stored on the Operator's own computer or private server, with access restricted to the Operator.
- Tokens are kept until you revoke access or the Operator deletes them. Downloaded video files are deleted right after upload.
4. Sharing
Data is only sent to the platform it belongs to: videos and captions go to YouTube and TikTok when you upload them. Nothing is shared with any other third party.
5. Google / YouTube API Services
The Tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
The Tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. TikTok
TikTok's handling of your data is covered by the TikTok Privacy Policy.
7. Revoking access and deleting data
- TikTok: TikTok app → Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → remove reels-crosspost.
